There is not a lot of responsibility associated with the title. We are simply looking for someone to gather the contact information for the people on their block, especially elderly residents who may need assistance during very hot weather or during a snowstorm, etc. Block captains might also be tasked with passing out flyers for our meetings, but if they cannot do that, we have other people to fill in. It is important for people to be able to connect with others if they need assistance, and this is the best way we can think to do this. Right now we have volunteers for the 3800 block of Francisco as well as the 3600 blocks of Mozart and Sacramento. Thank you in advance.
