As shown in the image above, the entire area is zoned for single family homes, two-flats, and townhomes. The property in question is already zoned R-4 which would allow for the development of townhouses and condominiums – Why would they ask for a rezone?

This is not in line with the other buildings in the area, and cause several issues down the line. There are no buildings of this size in the area! Additionally, this would set a precedence that would allow additional large buildings to be built, and cause a further cascade of issues with traffic, the local environment, and issues caused by a large influx of new residents.
